Bài đọc 1 - Xh 34,29-35

Ông Mô-sê từ trên núi Xi-nai xuống, tay cầm hai tấm bia Chứng Ước, khi xuống núi, ông Mô-sê không biết rằng da mặt ông sáng chói bởi đã đàm đạo với THIÊN CHÚA. Khi ông A-ha-ron và toàn thể con cái con Ít-ra-en thấy ông Mô-sê, thì này đây da mặt ông sáng chói, nên họ sợ không dám lại gần ông. Ông Mô-sê gọi họ: ông A-ha-ron và các đầu mục của cộng đồng trở lại với ông, và ông nói chuyện với họ. Sau đó, toàn thể con cái Ít-ra-en lại gần ông, và ông truyền cho họ tất cả những điều ĐỨC CHÚA đã phán với ông trên núi Xi-nai. Nói với họ xong, ông lấy khăn che mặt đi. Khi vào trước nhan ĐỨC CHÚA để đàm đạo với Người, thì ông bỏ khăn cho đến lúc trở ra; ông trở ra và nói lại với con cái Ít-ra-en những mệnh lệnh ông đã nhận được. Con cái Ít-ra-en nhìn mặt ông Mô-sê thấy da mặt ông sáng chói; ông Mô-sê lại lấy khăn che mặt, cho đến khi vào đàm đạo với THIÊN CHÚA. Đó là lời Chúa.

Đáp ca - Tv 98,5.6.7.9 (Đ. x. c.9c)

Đáp: Lạy CHÚA là THIÊN CHÚA chúng con, Ngài quả là Đấng Thánh.

Xướng:
1) Hãy suy tôn ĐỨC CHÚA là THIÊN CHÚA chúng ta, phủ phục trước bệ rồng, bởi Người là Đấng Thánh. - Đáp.
2) Mô-sê cùng A-ha-ron trong hàng tư tế CHÚA, cũng như Sa-mu-en trong số người cầu khẩn Thánh Danh! Các ngài cầu khẩn CHÚA, CHÚA thương đáp lại. - Đáp.
3) Từ cột mây, CHÚA phán dạy các ngài, các ngài đã tuân hành thánh ý, và chiếu chỉ Người ban. - Đáp.
4) Hãy suy tôn ĐỨC CHÚA là THIÊN CHÚA chúng ta, hướng về núi thánh mà phủ phục, vì ĐỨC CHÚA, THIÊN CHÚA ta thờ, quả thật là Đấng Thánh. - Đáp.

Khi ấy, Đức Giê-su kể cho dân chúng nghe dụ ngôn này: “Nước Trời giống như chuyện kho báu chôn giấu trong ruộng. Có người kia gặp được thì liền chôn giấu lại, rồi vui mừng đi bán tất cả những gì mình có mà mua thửa ruộng ấy.

“Nước Trời lại cũng giống như chuyện một thương gia đi tìm ngọc đẹp. Tìm được một viên ngọc quý, ông ta ra đi, bán tất cả những gì mình có mà mua viên ngọc ấy.” Đó là lời Chúa.

First Reading: Exodus 34: 29-35

29 And when Moses came down from the mount Sinai, he held the two tables of the testimony, and he knew not that his face was horned from the conversation of the Lord.

30 And Aaron and the children of Israel seeing the face of Moses horned, were afraid to come near.

31 And being called by him, they returned, both Aaron and the rulers of the congregation. And after that he spoke to them.

32 And all the children of Israel came to him: and he gave them in commandment all that he had heard of the Lord in mount Sinai.

33 And having done speaking, he put a veil upon his face.

34 But when he went in to the Lord, and spoke with him, he took it away until he came forth, and then he spoke to the children of Israel all things that had been commanded him.

35 And they saw that the face of Moses when he came out was horned, but he covered his face again, if at any time he spoke to them.

44 The kingdom of heaven is like unto a treasure hidden in a field. Which a man having found, hid it, and for joy thereof goeth, and selleth all that he hath, and buyeth that field.

45 Again the kingdom of heaven is like to a merchant seeking good pearls.

46 Who when he had found one pearl of great price, went his way, and sold all that he had, and bought it.

Priest: Pray, my brothers and sisters, that my sacrifice and yours may be acceptable to God, the almighty Father.

All: May the Lord accept the sacrifice at your hands, for the praise and glory of His name, for our good, and the good of all His holy Church.

Priest: Let US pray with confidence to the Father in the words our Savior gave US.

All: Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name; thy kingdom come; thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give US this day our daily bread; and forgive US our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver US from evil.

Priest: Deliver US, Lord, we pray, from every evil, graciously grant peace in our days, that, by the help of your mercy, we may be always free from sin and safe from all distress, as we await the blessed hope and the coming of our Savior, Jesus Christ.

All: For the kingdom, the power, and the glory are yours, now and forever.

Priest: Lord Jesus Christ, you said to your apostles: I leave you peace, my peace I give you. Look not on our sins, but on the faith of your Church, and grant US the peace and unity of your kingdom where you live for ever and ever.

Priest: The Peace of the Lord be with you always.

Deacon or Priest: Let US offer each other a sign of peace

All: Lamb of God, you take away the sins of the world: have mercy on US.

Priest: This is the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world. Happy are those who are called to his supper.

All: Lord, I am not worthy that you should enter under my roof, but only say the word and my soul shall be healed.
